The Festival founded by its President Dominique Damien Réhel,

+33 6 09 74 65 64, for the AMCS association -11 rue des Epinettes -75017 Paris,

brings together each year numerous fashion and textile industry players, in the city of Dinan. ​

 

These professionals who come to meet and support new talents participate in the conferences, round tables, exhibitions and fashion shows that bring the 3 days of the Festival to life.

​

The competition is open to all participants over 18 years old, graduates of fashion schools or having already created their brand.

Duos are accepted.

​

Designers must present a coherent collection of 8 accessorized silhouettes, in the Men's, Women's or Non-gendered category.

​

It is recommended to use eco-responsible materials or processes:

​

6 dedicated to the fashion shows.

1 dedicated to the "See and Like" Public Choice Award.

1 on the imposed theme, by the sponsor Royal Mer: reinterpretation in your own image, of the trucker sweater, with a zipped collar.

 

Selected designers must be present in Dinan, with a companion of their choice, from Thursday to Sunday inclusive.

Travel, meal and accommodation expenses are at the expense of the participants.

 

REGISTRATION AND RULES:

SENDING OF THE DOSSIER BEFORE JUNE 5, 2026.

Composition of the dossier:

Maximum format A3 (30 x 40 cm),

A visual presentation of the outfits, realized with photos of the garments worn, if you already have some.

A book with sketches of the silhouettes, description, technical sheet, material and color page.

A text about your collection, its spirit and its universe.

A CV and a cover letter.

A total outfit, complete look, accessories included may be requested, subsequently, if your dossier interests us.

USE OF PARTICIPANTS' PERSONAL DATA

The information communicated by the participants is recorded and used by the Festival for their participation in the competition. In accordance with the provisions of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, and subsequent laws relating to information technology, files and freedoms, individuals whose personal data is collected benefit from a right of access, rectification, deletion and opposition. The Festival is authorized to exploit all images, intellectual property of the designers; these images will be used for public information purposes for communication needs.

This right must be exercised with the AMCS association, at its address mentioned in article A above.

MANDATORY NATURE OF THESE RULES

Participation in the competition of the Dinan International Festival of Fashion Designers implies the irrevocable and unreserved acceptance of these rules. Failure to comply with the stated conditions of participation in these rules will result in the cancellation of participation.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The reproduction or exploitation of all or part of the rules and elements of the Festival is strictly prohibited. All logos, brands and other distinctive signs, as well as all images and videos reproduced during the Festival in Dinan, and on social networks, the sites, to which it allows access through hypertext links are the exclusive property of their holders and are protected by the provisions of the intellectual property code.

Any unauthorized reproduction of elements protected by the Intellectual Property Code constitutes an infringement punishable by criminal sanctions.

LIABILITY

The Festival and the organizers reserve the right to extend, shorten, modify or cancel the competition at any time, notably in case of force majeure, without any compensation being claimed by the participants.

​

The responsibility of the Festival organizers cannot be engaged in the event of an occurrence of an event presenting the character of force majeure partially or totally depriving the participants of the possibility of participating in the competition.

DISPUTES

These rules are governed by French law.

The organizers of the Festival reserve the right to decide on any difficulty that may arise regarding the interpretation or application of these rules.

No dispute formulated more than one month after the date of designation of the Festival winners will be admitted.

In case of dispute, only the courts of Paris will be competent.

THE SELECTION OF THE 10 CANDIDATES WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON JUNE 15, 2026.

If your application is selected, you will be contacted, by phone or email, by the Festival organization.

​

For Parisians, or residents in France near Paris, your presence is desired at a meeting organized after the final selection, with the 10 finalists, to answer their questions and explain, in detail, how the Festival works. For regional and foreign participants, the terms will be given via WhatsApp. ​

 

The creations of the selected candidates will be presented by the designer himself or his companion on a stand, as well as during fashion shows, to fashion professionals and the public.

These designers will be required to individually present their collections to the members of the jury, fashion players and journalists.
