The 27th edition of the International Festival of Fashion Designers, founded and chaired by Dominique Damien Réhel, will take place on October 27, 28 and 29, 2023.
Dinan, the Festival of young creation open to the general public: A selection of 10 designers, recently graduated or having already created their brand, will be candidates for the award of the Grand Prix Dinan. The required model of this 2023 edition for designers is the revisited striped sailor top.
Mr. Didier Lechien, Mayor of the city of Dinan, renews for the 7th year, his commitment to the Festival. Dinannais traders will be involved again, thanks to the Parcours Like. The Parcours Like system consists of assigning the window of a shop in the city to each of the 10 competing designers. Each silhouette is staged so that the public votes on social networks, for their favorite outfit. The most popular receives the Dinan Territoire Commercant/General Public Prize.
The Festival, which is conducive to professional exchanges, reiterates the moment of debates between specialists in the fashion market, with a round table. Open to the general public, it will take place in the SalleCharles Duclos, at the Dinan Town Hall.
Still accessible to the general public, the 10 collections of the designers will be exhibited in their universes, on stands installed within the Théâtre des Jacobins, from Friday.
Fashion on the street:
A selection of the 2023 creations will parade on Saturday afternoon, outdoors. Esplanade de la Fraternité, Place Saint Sauveur and on the Parvis of the Théâtre des Jacobins.
At the Théâtre des Jacobins, all of the creations will be presented during the official inauguration of the Festival, followed by the presentation of the 2023 Dinan Prize during the Gala evening.
